Position Title: Principal Contracts Specialist
Location:   Chantilly, VA
Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI

 

Duties:

      •  
    Support legacy non-SETA contract transition activities.
    Support the Government s non-SETA contract performance management activities.
    Support non-SETA contract administration activities (e.g., development of Requests for Contract Action packages RFPs for Engineering Change Proposals, proposal analysis for recommendation of ECP negotiation, and recommended SOW changes).
    Prepare, organize, coordinate, and manage program/project briefings, as required by the Government.
    Support Program and Business Management Reviews and any non-SETA contract-related reviews, as required by the Government.
    Track and perform programmatic and technical reviews of non -SETA contract data requirements list (CDRL) items.
    Support non-SETA contract quality assurance activities (e.g. Quality Assurance Surveillance Program).
    Provide administrative support to non-S ETA contract award fee activities.
    Assist the Government with the oversight of the execution of the non-SETA  contracts

     

 

Required Skills:

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Current Top Secret clearance with current SCI eligibility and in-scope SSBI date.
  • Master's degree in Business, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
  • Min 18 years’ applicable experience.
  • Domain knowledge of:
    • IT and Managed Service Provider Acquisition;
    • Commercial Hardware and Software Acquisition and Licensing Processes and Tools (e.g. SAP and Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Services Software Asset Management Tool);
    • Supply Chain Management;
    • Property Manuals and Processes
    • Service Level Agreements
    • Earned Value Management.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in supporting legacy contract transition activities.
  • Experience in supporting the Government's contract performance management activities.
  • Experience in supporting contract administration activities (e.g., development of Requests for Contract Action packages, RFPs for Engineering Change Proposals, proposal analysis for recommendation of ECP negotiation, and recommended SOW changes).
  • Experience in preparing, organizing, coordinating, and managing program/project briefings, as required by the Government.
  • Experience in supporting Program and Business Management Reviews and any contract-related reviews.
  • Experience in tracking and performing programmatic and technical reviews of contract data requirements list (CDRL) items.

 

  • Experience in supporting contract quality assurance activities (e.g., Quality Assurance Surveillance Program).
  • Experience in providing administrative support to contract award fee activities.
  • Experience in assisting the Government with the oversight of the execution of contracts.
