Position Title: Mid-Level Acquisition Specialist
Location: Chantilly, VA
Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI
Duties:
- Support the planning and execution of end-to end acquisition lifecycle functions.
- Support acquisition strategies plans and processes
- Recommend acquisition planning process improvement opportunities.
- Support acquisition streamlining initiatives for new programs and capabilities under development.
- Support the Government in market research activities as required by the Government.
- Draft acquisition documents (e.g., Acquisition Strategy Acquisition Plan, SOWs,Task Orders), and other required solicitation/contract attachments.
- Support Request for Proposal (RFP) development and coordination activities.
- Identify formulate and collect documents for inclusion in Contractor Bidders' Library for supported acquisitions.
- Identify and assess risks associated with acquisition implementation approaches for supported acquisitions.
- Conduct programmatic analysis and provide strategic recommendations for activities or projects in the acquisition cycle.
- Support source selection evaluation activities as an advisor to the Source Selection Evaluation Team
Required Skills:
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Current Top Secret clearance with current SCI eligibility and in-scope SSBI date.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Min 6 years’ applicable experience.
- Domain knowledge of:
- IT and Managed Service Provider Acquisition;
- Commercial Hardware and Software Acquisition and Licensing Processes and Tools (e.g. SAP and Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Services Software Asset Management Tool);
- Supply Chain Management;
- Property Manuals and Processes
- Service Level Agreements
- Earned Value Management.
Desired Skills:
- Master’s degree or certification in Business, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
- Experience in supporting the planning and execution of end-to-end acquisition lifecycle functions.
