General Responsibilities:

• Oversee user requirements, set-up, test and modifications to database systems.

• Ensure the performance of the system.

• Direct, plan, and coordinate security measures -data integrity, backup systems, and database security.

• Provide technical expertise in the use of Database Management System (DBMS).

• Evaluate and recommends available DBMS products to support validated user requirements.

• Oversee file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for specific user applications.

• Manage the development of data base projects.

• Oversee the work of Senior-, Mid- and Junior- level Database Developer/Administrators Developer/Maintainer.

Required Skills and Tasks:

• Active TS/SCI clearance

• Able to follow established processes & checklists

• Understands & applies basic concepts, ability to use more advanced concepts

• Assists senior level technicians, specialists & managers.

Work Level:

• Self-guided individual work

• Proactive team member

Education/Certification Required:

• Bachelor’s degree, Associates degree plus 2 years’ experience, or a minimum of 4 years of experience, in a related field
